Introduction

It can sometimes be advantageous to export account profile information (such as department names, billing addresses, and contact names) from the EII Console. All exports will be created in .csv format, able to be open in Excel and all similar programs. These instructions walk through the process of accessing and exporting that data, as well as explaining a few potential warning messages.

Exporting Account Profile Data

1. Open the EII Console.
2. Choose the "Account Profile Editor" option from the left hand menu.
3. Hit the "Export" button.
4. Choose a relevant name and save location for the .csv file.
5. Hit "Save".

The .csv file can now be opened or moved to another device.

Common Warning Messages

  • Export Warning
This warning means that the "Custom Account #" field for at least one department is empty.

Hitting "Yes" on the Export Warning window will automatically enter the EII account number assigned to the account in the "Custom Account #" field, and then the Console will try again to export the file.

Hitting "No" on the Export Warning window will export all account information except those accounts or departments missing a custom account number.

Hitting "Cancel" will end the export attempt and allow the user to manually change the custom account numbers.
  • Account Export Error
This warning means that the "Custom Account #" field for at least two departments contain the same number.

To resolve the error, hit "OK", and then change the custom account number to a unique value on at least one of the departments listed in the error message.
