Changes have been made to the recent version of the Safety 100 board that can cause confusion when installing the updated board on an EZ-Parcels machine. The procedure that must be followed is detailed below.
Removal of the Obsolete Safety 100 Board
Turn off the Safety

| Unplug power from the Control Board | ![]() |
| Disconnect all cables from the Safety 100 board | |
| Remove the board from the machine |
Installation of the New Safety 100 Board
| Place the new board in the location from which the old board was removed | |
Cables must be reconnected in their corresponding locations, as seen in the figures in Installation of the Safety 100 Board

Once the board has been remounted onto the Transport, cables must be reconnected

Connect the cables that are indicated with numbers 1-6 in the new board

| One end of the Safety Next able will be plugged into the Safety Next slot on the board (Number 7), while the other end will be plugged into the Safety Previous slot of the board in the next stacker section (Number 6) | |
The splice, adapter board, and adapter header will be disconnected and removed from the machine

Installation of the New Safety 100 Board in the Final Stacker
When the Safety 100 board is replaced in the final stacker of the transport, the procedure that must be followed when connecting the cables will differ in some areas from the procedure that was outlined in Installation of the Safety 100 Board
