To change the LCD contrast on your Sato LT408 printer:

Ensure that your printer is in Online Mode (should list either an Online or Offline notification, along with a QTY count of all 0s)
Press the left arrow to decrease the contrast and make the screen lighter
Press the right arrow to increase the contrast and make the screen darker

The contrast for the LCD display can only be changed on this screen.
