Controller Display Flashing

Introduction

If the controller display is steadily flashing on and off, there are two potential issues: a shorted light board or a damaged controller. 

• The most common cause is a shorted light board, so begin by disconnecting all light boards from the controller, then running the Auto ID process. If the controller stops flashing, the issue comes from a light board, so perform the error isolating procedure described in the "Error Isolating" article to determine which board is causing the problem. 
• If the controller continues to flash, you may need a new controller. Please contact Customer Support to acquire a replacement. Once you have a new controller, follow the steps described in the "Replacing a Controller" article to install it.
